Three Playstation 5 Consoles Donated at Rafał Misztalski's Birthday Celebration!
In 2023, a significant event took place as our club colleague, Rafał Misztalski, celebrated his 50th birthday. This milestone was marked with a grand ball, an occasion filled with joy and camaraderie. During this festive event, Rafał, always the visionary, decided to use the platform to promote the Rotary ideals among the invited guests, showcasing the club's commitment to community service. With a spirit of generosity and a desire to make a difference, he proposed a collection drive for Playstation 5 consoles. The idea behind this initiative was to donate these consoles to hospices and other facilities that care for particularly ill children in Warsaw. Rafał believed that such a gesture would bring a bit of joy and distraction to these children during their challenging times. Thanks to the overwhelming support and generosity of the attendees, the initiative was a success. Ultimately, the consoles were donated to two prominent hospices in Warsaw in June 2023. Additionally, in the following month, July 2023, the Children's Health Center, a renowned institution dedicated to pediatric care, also received a donation. This act of kindness was not just about the consoles but also symbolized the club's commitment to supporting the well-being of children in need.
The commitment
Recognizing the importance of sustained support, the Rotary Club of Warsaw made a commitment. We pledged to maintain future cooperation with these institutions, ensuring that the bond formed would lead to more collaborative efforts in the future. This commitment is in line with the club's history of community service. To highlight their previous endeavors, it's worth noting that in the years 2019-2020, the Club had carried out the commendable Mr. Theater project at the clinical hospital for Banacha in Warsaw, further showcasing their dedication to making a positive impact in the community.
